Growing up without a father has not hindered Andra Farizki Ramdhani from pursuing his dreams. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, has found new hope through the People’s School initiative introduced by President Prabowo Subianto. Despite facing financial difficulties, Andra expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to receive a quality education through the People’s School.

The People’s School, where Andra attends, is a boarding school that has provided him with a conducive learning environment. Adjusting to dorm life has presented its challenges, but Andra finds comfort in the camaraderie of his friends and roommates. While the daily routine may seem monotonous at times, Andra draws strength from the friendships he has formed at the school.

The facilities at SRMA 10 have exceeded Andra’s expectations, providing him with a comfortable and focused space to learn. His active participation in extracurricular activities, such as judo and informatics, has further enriched his educational experience. Despite not having a father figure, Andra remains determined to achieve his dreams – becoming a judo athlete and pursuing higher education at Defense University (Unhan).

Andra’s ambition is fueled by his desire to honor his mother, who has always been his pillar of support. He is grateful for the opportunity to study at the People’s School without any financial burden, emphasizing the school’s accessibility for underprivileged children who are eager to learn. As Andra continues to strive for his goals, he remains confident that with his determination and his mother’s unwavering support, his dreams are well within reach.
