MBG aims to enhance children’s concentration, academic performance, physical growth, and brain development, with a long-term vision of creating a prosperous generation by Indonesia Emas 2045. Recognized by international organizations like the School Meals Coalition, MBG has reached eight million beneficiaries, showing measurable benefits such as improved Body Mass Index (BMI) and increased classroom concentration, according to experts from the National Nutrition Council (BGN). Additionally, the program has not only improved health and education outcomes but has also stimulated economic activity by providing new job opportunities and supporting local enterprises. Grandmother Suratina, working at an SPPG kitchen in Yogyakarta, expressed her gratitude for the program, highlighting the income and sense of community it brings. With concrete results and positive impacts, the MBG program stands as a beacon of hope and progress for Indonesia’s future.
