Recently, President Prabowo Subianto of the Republic of Indonesia attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before embarking on an official state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, President Prabowo, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Foreign Minister Sugiono, arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. The President was bid farewell by high-ranking officials before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM to begin his journey.

During his visit, President Prabowo aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, focusing on areas such as the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit is crucial in enhancing the relationship between the two nations and fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both countries. Prior to his departure, President Prabowo took a moment to observe military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie, showcasing his support for the Armed Forces.
