President Prabowo Subianto recently announced that a total of 352 TNI soldiers will be taking part in the military parade to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. Before his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta, President Prabowo shared this news, expressing Indonesia’s delight and honor for the invitation extended by the Indian government. The Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, will have the privilege of being in the front row during India’s anniversary parade. The delegation from Indonesia will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is set to engage in meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation. These discussions may include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focusing on collaboration in important areas such as health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Furthermore, President Prabowo’s agenda during his visit also includes meetings with Indian entrepreneurs who have expressed interest in investing in Indonesia.
