Elementary school students in Depok are showing their gratitude for the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) by leaving heartwarming messages for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. These touching messages are written on the meal boxes provided as part of the programme, known as omprengs, and reflect the students’ deep appreciation for this initiative. One student, Regita from grade 3, expressed her thanks for the programme, mentioning that it has helped her save her pocket money. Aliya and Alenna, along with other students, also expressed their love and gratitude for Prabowo in their messages.
The MBG programme, a key initiative of President Prabowo Subianto, is being implemented in different locations across Indonesia to provide free nutritious meals to those in need. The Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) is responsible for managing the programme, ensuring the quality and sustainability of the food provided. In order to promote long-term sustainability, the government has chosen stainless steel food containers that are both hygienic and reusable.
