Jakarta – Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, through his personal account, @P_Fiala, congratulated the number two presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, on his victory based on the quick count results.
“Congratulations to H.E. @prabowo Subianto for winning the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election,” Petr tweeted on Wednesday (14/2).
In his post, Petr also highlighted his visit to the country. He then prayed for a smooth transition of leadership from President Joko Widodo to Prabowo.
Furthermore, Petr also expressed his readiness to strengthen the relationship between the Czech Republic and Indonesia under Prabowo’s leadership.
“Considering my visit to your beautiful country less than a year ago, allow me to pray for a smooth transition and express our readiness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries,” wrote Petr.
The victory of Prabowo-Gibran according to the quick count results is evident from the constantly updated numbers by several survey institutions and media.
The latest data this morning shows that the average vote count for Prabowo-Gibran is close to 60%. Kompas Research shows a figure of 58.73%; the Indonesian Political Indicator 58%; and LSI Denny JA at 58.16%. (SENOPATI)
