Operator KCIC has set the ticket price for the Whoosh High-Speed Train from Jakarta to Bandung at Rp 150,000 starting from October 18 to November 30, 2023. This price is a promotion in conjunction with KCIC’s anniversary.
In the future, KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti said they will evaluate the ticket price for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Train after the promotional period ends. Will the Whoosh price increase on December 1, 2023?
“We will evaluate the tariff after the end of the promo period because the Whoosh High-Speed Train is a commercial train service, so in the future, the tariff will be determined using dynamic pricing strategy and following the demand pattern and company strategy using accurate calculations and studies,” he told CNBC Indonesia on Monday (11/13/2023).
The evaluation opens up the possibility of the Whoosh ticket price changing, especially since this train service is commercial. Nevertheless, the public can still use the Whoosh with promotional rates until the end of this month.
“For the tariff, it is still in the promotional period for the premium Economy class until November 30, 2023,” said Emir.
Tickets for the Whoosh High-Speed Train can be booked online at ticket.kcic.co.id. Offline purchases can be made through ticket machines and counters provided at each high-speed train station.
